Laura (she/they) is a Los Angeles based comedian and artist originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She began her comedy career at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and has since grown a supportive audience online. Known for her silly, relatable content, Laura's videos resonate with a wide range of viewers.
Laura blends absurdist humor with vulnerability, openly discussing topics such as queerness, mental health, and sobriety, with a playfulness that makes these important conversations accessible. With a background in grassroots organizing, she strives to infuse her work with meaningful social messages.
Some of Laura’s efforts include launching a series called Ceiling People, where she shipped her offbeat drawings to fans around the world. Her short film Am I the Tub? has been featured in the Chattanooga Film Festival and Los Angeles Comedy Film Festival. She has produced numerous comedy shows including Crappy Hour at The Peoples Improv Theater in New York and Laughter as Resistance, a fundraiser series that aided reproductive freedom funds in the South. She has designed two album covers, Found in Space and City Life, for a Grammy Award-winning trombonist.
